After
knocking about a lot in the world of the C64 and the Amiga, I was forced to recognise that
the PC has become inescapable. This slow, heavy computer system has imposed itself on the
market. All the old-school programmers and coders have had to make the painful transition
- leaving the world of Motorola for that of Intel, getting to know the terrors of memory
segmentation, the infernal pair ES:DI DS:SI, the absence of coprocessors, the minute
number of DMA channels, the deep dark song of IRQs... put simply, all the bullshit! THANK
GOODNESS, passionate individuals develop solutions - tools that allow simpler, more serene
programming.

12/25/2000 Demo Version 1.0
For the moment only the DOS version (run it in Windows!) is available. The
source code however is no longer available. This is Version 1.0. It just about works on a
substantial system (mini -> Celeron 300), but it lacks many ingredients of a nice game,
for example manipulation of sprite paths, collision detection with the mothership,
original art and music, and joystick management. If you write me a nice MOD file that's
not too big, any contributions are welcome and you'll appear on the Credits page. I cannot
be held responsible for any damage this playable demo may inflict on you or your system -
this software is released without guarantee. It runs in 640x480x8, and uses samples,
keyboard and mouse.
